About Us

We are developing new age sensor

                               In 2017
  1. Food-borne illnesses sicken 600 million people worldwide.
  2. More than 23 million people in European region were victim of food poisoning and more than 5000 died.
  3. 48 million people in USA fall sick because of it and medical expenditure rose above 55.5 billion $.
  4. 47% of total recall in USA was because of bacterial  contamination.
  5. 68% of recall in Europe was due to contaminated Chicken.
  6. A small to medium sized company looses 30-90 million $.
  1. Bacterial inspection methods have an important role in preventing this problem, but the slowness of the present inspection techniques is a major hurdle.
  2. The current inspection techniques take somewhere  between 2 to 5 days to produce the results. At times the results come after the product is already in the market, resulting in food recalls.

We are developing a sensor to perform spoilage detection in real-time. The sensor which utilizes optical technology and machine learning algorithms, scans the meat item and predicts its freshness level. This real-time bacterial inspection system (ReBIS) ensures that each and every corner of meat is safe for consumption. The sensor which is completely automated can be installed on a conveyor belt directly. This way it scans each and every meat item going through it and predicts its freshness level without the help of any trained personnel. Our USP include real time inspection, automated system, non-invasive and cost effective solution and ease of use.
